New Mazda Crossovers: Coming Soon

Two new crossovers are set to be released. Both the Mazda CX-70 and the Mazda CX-90 will use the new longitudinal-engine platform and inline-six engine. The CX-90 is slated to begin production first, later this year, while the CX-70 is due for its debut in 2023.

The CX-90 is replacing the outdated CX-9 in the lineup and includes three rows, while the CX-70 will feature two rows.

The updated engine and platform help push these Mazda models into a more premium market, without compromising price. The longitudinal-engine platform was created to aid with smoother handling and ride, as well as an increased luxurious feel thanks to the dash-to-axle ratio.
